Giveaway rules

1. Who runs giveaways

Giveaways are run by AFKify (“we”, “us”; see Contact) in the AFKify Discord server, by our admins and the owner. Discord and Roblox don’t sponsor, endorse or run our giveaways. These rules apply to every giveaway we run, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Each giveaway’s post links here.

Each post states the main details of that giveaway: the prize, the number of winners, who can enter, when entries close (shown in your own time zone), whether staff can enter, whether friend codes give extra entries, and whether it’s a pass it on and double it round (and if so, how many times a prize can be doubled). If the post and these rules ever disagree, the post’s details for that giveaway apply.

2. No purchase, ever

• No purchase needed, ever. You never pay to enter, to win or to claim a prize.
• Paying for AFKify never helps: the Pro and Founder roles are never used to decide who can enter, and having Pro doesn’t give you more entries.
• An AFKify account, and linking it to our Discord, are free.

3. Who can enter, and how

To enter a giveaway, you need:

• an AFKify account (you must be 13 or older to have one: see our Terms), linked to our Discord server with /link;
• to be a member of our Discord server, with one of the roles the giveaway’s post names (or any role, if the post says everyone in the server can enter);
• no ban from AFKify and no active strike.

Press the Enter button on the giveaway’s post before the time it shows. One entry each: entering twice doesn’t add anything, and you may only enter with one account.

• Our team. AFKify staff can enter only if the post says “Staff can enter”. Otherwise they can’t.
• The person who made a giveaway can never enter it.
• Entering is your choice. You can leave our Discord server at any time, but then you can’t win (see section 5).

4. Quest entries from friend codes

Some giveaways allow quest entries. The post says so. In those giveaways, each friend who joined AFKify with your friend code, and whose code counts, gives you 1 extra entry, up to 5 entries in all (your own entry plus up to 4 quest entries).

• Every player has a friend code (in AFKify, Account, then Friend code; or /friend in our Discord). A new player can enter one friend’s code, once, in their first 14 days on AFKify.
• A friend’s code counts once their Discord account is at least 30 days old, they’ve imported a pack, and they’ve used AFKify on two different days.
• Friend codes never cost anything, never pay money and never give discounts. They’re separate from affiliate codes.
• Your entries are counted when the giveaway ends. Codes from fake or second accounts break these rules (see section 11).

5. How winners are picked

• When a giveaway ends (at the time on its post), our bot picks winners within a few minutes.
• Winners are picked at random, using a secure random number generator. Each entry is one chance, so a player with quest entries has more chances. Nobody on our team chooses who wins.
• Each person picked is checked first: they must still be in our Discord server, still have one of the giveaway’s roles, still have a linked AFKify account, and have no ban or active strike (and not be staff, unless staff could enter). Anyone who isn’t eligible any more is skipped for that giveaway, and someone else is picked.
• Nobody can be picked twice in the same giveaway. Once you’ve been picked (whether you claim, pass a prize on, return it or don’t answer in time), you can’t be picked again in that giveaway.
• We record each draw: how many entries there were, and who was picked.

6. Pass it on and double it

Some giveaways are pass it on and double it rounds. The giveaway’s post says if it is one, and how many times a prize can double. In other giveaways, the person picked for a prize simply claims it or returns it (see Claiming a prize).

In a pass it on and double it round, each prize starts a chain, and the first person picked for a prize gets a choice:

• Claim: the prize is yours; or
• Pass it on and double it: you give up the prize, the prize doubles (1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, then 8 and so on) and one new person is picked, who gets the same choice.

This choice has its own message that looks different from a normal win, and you have 24 hours to choose. When someone in a chain claims, they take one prize, and the chain’s other prizes go to that many more people, picked at once.

• The doubling limit. A pass it on and double it round’s post says how many times a prize can double, never more than 5 times (up to 32 prizes for that chain). The post also says the most prizes the giveaway could give.
• Once a chain reaches its limit, the next person picked can only Claim or Return the prize.
• People picked for the other prizes after someone claims can also only Claim or Return.
• Passing a prize on is final, and you can’t be picked again in that giveaway.

7. Claiming a prize

• If you’re picked, our bot posts a message in the giveaway’s channel that mentions you, and sends you the same message by Discord direct message. If your direct messages are closed, the message in the channel is enough, so keep an eye on the channel.
• Only the person picked can use the message’s buttons.
• A normal win: you have 48 hours to claim (Claim or Return).
• A pass it on and double it choice: you have 24 hours to choose (Claim or Pass it on and double it).
• The message shows exactly when your time ends, in your own time zone.
• You must still have no ban when you claim.

8. Automatic redraws, and prizes nobody is left for

• If you return a prize, or don’t answer in time, someone else is picked for that prize automatically. It doesn’t double.
• If everyone who could win has already been picked, any prizes left aren’t given. The giveaway’s post says so.

9. Prizes and gift codes

• Prizes are AFKify Pro for 1, 3 or 12 months, or Lifetime: for as long as AFKify offers Pro (at least 90 days’ notice before it ends; see our Terms). Each person who claims gets one prize.
• When you claim, Pro goes on your AFKify account straight away. Pro for 1, 3 or 12 months doesn’t renew: it simply ends. If you claim before launch on 15 January 2027, its months start counting at launch, so you get all of it once Pro is on sale. If you already have Pro that doesn’t renew, the prize is added after it.
• If you already have Lifetime, Founder lifetime or a Pro subscription that renews, you get the prize as a gift code instead, which you can give to someone else. Only you can see it, and you can see it again with My prize on your message until it’s used. Gift codes work as our Terms say: each works once and never expires (for as long as AFKify offers Pro).
• Prizes have no cash value. We don’t swap them for money or for a different prize.
• Prizes are free, so there’s nothing to refund.

10. Rerolls

If a prize hasn’t been claimed and its time to claim has run out, our admins can pick someone else for it (a “reroll”), giving a reason. Usually the bot does this by itself (section 8). Rerolls happen only within 7 days of the draw. A prize that has been claimed is never rerolled. If your prize is rerolled, we tell you why by Discord message.

11. Taking a prize back

Within 7 days of the draw, our admins can take a prize back, even after it was claimed, if the winner broke these rules or our Terms. For example:

• entering with more than one account, or with someone else’s account;
• getting quest entries from friend codes of fake or second accounts;
• anything else that gets around these rules or treats other players unfairly.

When a prize is taken back, its gift code stops working, or the Pro it gave ends (for whoever redeemed it, if the code was passed on). We tell the winner why by Discord message, someone else is picked for the prize, and we keep a record of it. If you think we got it wrong, open a ticket in our Discord with /ticket.

12. Cancelling a giveaway

We can cancel a giveaway if it’s being abused (for example by fake accounts entering), if it was set up by mistake, or if something outside our control means it can’t run fairly. The post then says it was cancelled, entries close and nobody else is picked. Prizes already claimed normally stay with their winners, unless we take them back under section 11.

13. What other people see

• The giveaway’s post, the messages to people picked, and short updates in the giveaway’s channel (for example “passed it on: the prize is now ×2!” or “claimed prize 1!”) show Discord names, which everyone in our server can already see.
• They never show how a prize was given (Pro or a gift code), whether you already had Pro or Founder, or why a prize was taken back.
• Entering doesn’t show anything about you to other members.

14. Your data

To run giveaways we keep who entered, who was picked and what happened, and a record of each giveaway. Our Privacy Policy says what we keep and for how long.

15. Changes and questions

We may update these rules. A giveaway that has already started runs under the rules as they were when it was posted, except where the law requires otherwise. Questions? Open a ticket in our Discord with /ticket, or email support@afkify.com.
